Why This Vote Matters – Without Deciding Anything Yet
On December 30, 2025, a special vote begins within the Infinity-Economics community. Over a period of about 11 days (5000 blocks), one key question will be posed that may sound technical at first but is fundamentally important: Should the development of Infinity-Economics 2.0 be approved?
Important: This is not about implementation. No code changes, no system activation. The vote is simply about granting permission to draft a plan for a potential IE 2.0.
That’s why this vote isn’t about giving up power. Quite the opposite: it’s about smartly and deliberately taking control.
Without a Draft, There’s Nothing to Decide – Stagnation Isn’t Neutral
To make a decision, you need facts. A foundation. Something you can consider. That’s what this vote would enable: the creation of a solid basis.
Voting “No” doesn’t just block a potential future – it blocks thinking about it. It’s like saying: "Better to plan nothing than to consider new possibilities."
But stagnation isn’t a neutral position. In a changing world, doing nothing is often the riskiest choice. Without development, everything stays the same – whether it makes sense or not.
Development Is Preparation, Not a Promise
This vote is like giving a workshop the go-ahead: "Show us what’s possible." Whether any of it gets implemented is a decision for the DAO – in a separate vote.
Saying “Yes” now doesn’t mean saying “Yes” to IE 2.0. It means: "Let’s explore together if and how it makes sense."
You can still vote “No” later. All rights and full control remain with the community. But without initial concepts, there’s nothing to decide on later.
IE 2.0 Brings Order, Not Disruption
Infinity-Economics will remain what it is: an independent, native blockchain – without external funding or a change in direction. IE 2.0 isn’t a restart; it’s a way to bring structure, clarity, and scalability for the future.
It’s not about tearing things down. It’s about stabilising the foundation, bringing order to the architecture, and designing the future thoughtfully – together, and only if it truly makes sense.
The ieConcept 2.0 as the Roadmap
Every journey needs a map. The ieConcept 2.0 is exactly that: a guide for the technical, organisational, and user-focused development of Infinity-Economics.
Without this intellectual groundwork, IE 2.0 would be like building a house without blueprints: lots of ideas, no coherence. With the concept, we can evaluate what’s useful, what’s missing, and what might be too much.
IE 2.0 and ieConcept 2.0 go hand in hand – like a vision and its sketch before construction begins.
Thinking Ahead Means Voting Smart
This vote isn’t about technology – it’s about becoming capable of deciding. Saying “Yes” now creates options. Saying “No” removes them – which is a decision too, just without alternatives.
Thinking long-term doesn’t mean acting rashly. It means staying open to informed decisions.
Your Vote Counts
From December 30, 2025, you can cast your vote with your active wallet. One wallet = one vote. The result is determined by an absolute majority.
Get informed. Understand the question. Vote mindfully.
Because stopping development today is already a decision – just without an alternative.
